We are an independent grooming salon that offers high quality grooming at a very fair price. Our groomers have been trained to utilize the safest techniques when handling your pet. This is especially important considering that dogs, like people, are all different from one another.
Some dogs have separation anxiety issues; we know how to comfort them, with patience and gentle handling. Gentle handling is the technique used by our groomers the entire time your dog is being groomed. It allows the groomer and the pet to form a friendship to achieve a great looking groom.

Why do I have to leave my dog and why does it take so long?
The average groom takes approximately 2-3 hours. Groomers generally work on a rotation system. We check-in all the dogs then each groomer begins the roughing-in of each of their dogs. This includes de-matting, clipping nails, and cleaning ears. The dog is then bathed, conditioned, blown dry and then placed in a kennel to finish drying. When most of the baths are done, the groomer will then go back to the first dog and begin the finish groom. This allows the groomer to complete one groom after the next.
This system makes for a less stressful grooming experience since there are rest periods. Furthermore, this keeps grooming prices down. If we groomed each dog straight through, it would limit how many dogs each groomer could do. We do offer an express groom at an additional charge (special arrangements must be made).
Under which circumstances will my dog need to be shaved down?
When the dog has excessive matting in the coat and it cannot be de-matted using a brush, comb, or other de-matting tools. If a comb cannot pass through the coat, it is considered matted. This can most likely be worked out of the coat by the groomer.
However, if the consistency of the matting is severe enough, it must be shaved for the safety of your pet. De-matting can be a harsh and painful process which leads to hair breakage and skin damage which, in turn, may lead to infection. We do not want to compromise the safety of your dog for vanity.
How Often Should My Dog Be Groomed?
Typically, every 4–6 weeks depending on coat length and thickness.
Does My Dog Need To Be Up To Date ON Vaccinations?
Yes, we take every precaution to maintain a clean and safe environment. We do require the Rabies vaccination and require your veterinarian’s contact information.
